¡¡Shanghai Under Ground Architectural Design
and Research Institute was founded in 1979,and is a first-class design firm
in China. It mainly engages in all kinds of design of underground projects,
civil and industrial building, municipal projects and decorative projects,
and is engaged in general contract of projects and technical consultancy. Our institute has a computer center. And majors in construction, underground construction structure, electricity, equipment, auto-control systems, water-supply and drainage, heating and ventilation, decoration, technical economy, etc, and has many of the country's top specialists, senior engineers with professor rank, and doctors working in institute. ¡¡Our institute is one of the first organizations to reach the highest standard of quality assurance, and passes the ISO9001 quality-authentication. Each design staff, and each task can be carried out in accordance with the regulated standard means and procedure and with a strict management system, and effective measure of technique to ensure a high quality of project design. ¡¡Our institute uses comprehensive computer-assisted design, sets up LAN to achieve share of data and peripheral equipments and consult and transfer the internal data, uses advanced OA equipment in management with a full set of relevant software, and the CAD producing rate of drawings can be 100 percent. Since the foundation of our institute 20 years ago, we have taken an active part in the city construction of Shanghai and have completed nearly a thousand projects of design from underground department stores, subways, and security shelters to hotels, high-rise commercial and residential buildings, villas and theaters. The institute has won many awards, both national and municipal, including 18 design awards and 25 scientific achievement prizes. ¡¡Our institute has a strong relations with both domestic and overseas customers.
